Workshops for Groups and Organisations

Write Print Create offer workshops which are suitable for all ages and abilities, including people with disabilities and additional needs, people suffering from dementia, and people who have low levels of literacy. We tailor our processes and outcomes to the specific needs of your group, and provide all the materials – all we need from you is a venue!

Recent projects we have been involved in include:

• Various workshops for arts charity People Express, working with people with dementia, people with learning disabilities, youth groups and adults living in supported housing.
• Working with young people at Sheffield Youth Justice Service as part of TiPP's Summer Arts College, facilitating workshops to help particpants gain their Bronze Arts Award.
• Two workshops with patients and staff on the Nightingale Ward at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, helping participants write and design a giant comic, 'Spiky and Rubberman: Saving the World' which will be exhibited at the hospital. You can read more about this workshop here: www.chesterfieldroyal.nhs.uk/news/life-royal/life-royal-2019/creativity-reigns-nightingale-ward
•Artist and author residency with Inspire Nottinghamshire Libraries (summer 2018)

We can also run workshops for art groups, including sessions on more specialised techniques such as etching and lino printing.
